Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Abdul Aziz for Fruits and Vegetables W.L.L. ("Abdul Aziz", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our ordering, delivery and customer service, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Personal Data Privacy Protection Law (Law No. 13 of 2016) of the State of Qatar. We are the controller of your personal data.

1. Who we are

Abdul Aziz for Fruits and Vegetables W.L.L., Zone 91, Street 3122, Building 342, Birkat Al Awameer, Doha, State of Qatar. Email: [email protected]. Phone: +974 4468 7022.

2. What we collect

  • Contact and account details: name, mobile number, email address, and a password for your account (stored in encrypted form, never in readable form).
  • Delivery details: delivery address, area, delivery instructions and, if you choose to drop a pin on the map or use "My location", the map coordinates of that place.
  • Order information: items ordered, prices, coupons used, delivery slot, payment method, order status and history, and any changes or cancellations.
  • Messages and feedback: what you send us through the contact form, phone, email or WhatsApp, and reviews you submit.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe to offers and news.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and security logs. We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in, keep your cart, remember your language and protect forms against forgery. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website. Orders are currently paid in cash on delivery, or by arrangement for corporate customers. We do not knowingly collect data about children; our services are for adults and businesses.

3. Why we use your data

  • to take, prepare, deliver, change, cancel and invoice your orders, and to contact you about them (performance of our contract with you);
  • to manage your account, answer enquiries and handle complaints, returns and refunds;
  • to keep accounting, tax, food-safety and traceability records and to meet our legal obligations in Qatar;
  • to protect the website, our customers and our business against fraud, abuse and security incidents;
  • to improve our products, delivery service and website; and
  • to send you offers and news by email only if you have agreed; you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed with:

  • our own staff and delivery drivers, so that your order reaches you;
  • service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you, such as web hosting and security (for example Cloudflare), email and messaging services, and map services (OpenStreetMap and Google Maps) used to show locations and search addresses;
  • professional advisers, auditors and banks where needed; and
  • courts, government and regulatory authorities in Qatar where the law requires or permits.

Some providers may process data outside Qatar. Where this happens we take reasonable steps so that your data stays protected in line with the law, and we share only what is necessary.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet accounting, tax and other legal record-keeping requirements in Qatar. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it. Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures: encrypted (HTTPS) connections, hashed passwords, limited staff access, regular updates and security monitoring. No system is completely secure, but if a breach is likely to cause you harm we will notify you and the competent authority as required by Qatari law.

7. Your rights

Under Qatar's data protection law you may, subject to its conditions, ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you access to it;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data or stop using it, where it is no longer needed or you withdraw consent;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (for example for marketing emails), without affecting earlier processing; and
  • object to certain uses of your data.

Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep data we are legally required to retain. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority in Qatar (currently the National Cyber Security Agency).

8. Job applicants

If you apply for a job through our Jobs page, we collect the details you give us (name, mobile number, email, nationality, city, experience, expected salary and your note) together with your photo, CV and any documents you attach. We use them only to assess your application, contact you about it and keep a record of our hiring. Your files are stored in a protected area, are not publicly accessible, and can be opened only by our authorised hiring staff and by you when you are signed in. We keep applications for as long as needed for recruitment and, for unsuccessful applicants, for a reasonable period in case a suitable job opens. You can ask us at any time to delete your application and files by writing to [email protected].

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected] or +974 4468 7022.
