These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with Abdul Aziz for Fruits and Vegetables W.L.L. ("Abdul Aziz", "we", "us"), a company operating in the State of Qatar since 1969. By using the website or placing an order you agree to these terms, our Returns & Refund Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About us
Abdul Aziz for Fruits and Vegetables W.L.L., Zone 91, Street 3122, Building 342, Birkat Al Awameer, Doha, Qatar. Email [email protected], phone +974 4468 7022. We import, wholesale and distribute fresh fruits and vegetables and sell them to businesses and households.
2. Your account and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. If you order for a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
- Give accurate, current details (name, mobile number, delivery address) and be reachable on your mobile number on delivery day.
- Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account; tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
3. Products and information
We take care to describe our products accurately, but fresh produce is a natural product. Photos are for illustration; size, shape, colour, ripeness and country of origin may vary between batches and seasons. Availability changes daily and is shown on the website; we may substitute or remove an item that is not available after contacting you where possible.
4. Prices
- All prices are in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and per the unit shown (for example per kg or per box). If any tax applies it will be shown at checkout.
- Prices follow market movements and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.
- If we discover an obvious pricing error we may correct it and give you the choice to confirm at the correct price or cancel, without charge.
- Coupons and offers are subject to their stated conditions, minimum order value and expiry, and cannot be combined unless stated.
5. Placing and accepting orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm it or dispatch the goods. We may decline or limit an order (for example, because of stock, quantity limits per item, delivery area, or suspected misuse). Minimum and maximum order quantities per item are shown on the product page and in your cart.
6. Changing or cancelling an order
If you have an account you can change your order within 15 minutes and cancel it within 5 minutes of placing it, from My Orders. After that, please contact us; changes are subject to the order not having been prepared or dispatched. See our Returns & Refund Policy for details.
7. Payment
- Payment is currently cash on delivery in Qatari Riyals, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Please have the right amount available; the driver may not be able to give change.
- Corporate and wholesale customers may be offered credit terms by written agreement. Invoices must be paid by the due date stated; we may suspend supply on overdue accounts.
- You must not use another person's payment details or provide false information.
8. Delivery
- We deliver in refrigerated vehicles within the areas and time slots shown on the website and at checkout. Delivery charges, any free-delivery threshold and the estimated slot are shown at checkout. Times are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by traffic, weather and other circumstances beyond our control.
- Someone must be available to receive the order at the address and in the slot you select. Please check the goods when they arrive (see our Returns & Refund Policy).
- Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or your representative. Please refrigerate fresh produce promptly after delivery.
- If delivery fails because no one is available or the address or contact details are wrong, we may re-deliver for a further charge or cancel the order.
9. Returns and refunds
Because produce is perishable, returns and refunds are handled under our Returns & Refund Policy. Your statutory rights under Qatari consumer law, including for defective or non-conforming goods, are not affected.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the website unlawfully or to place false or fraudulent orders; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts or systems, or to disrupt them; copy or scrape the website in bulk without our permission; or post abusive, misleading or unlawful content in reviews or messages. Misuse of electronic systems is an offence under Qatar's Cybercrime Prevention Law (Law No. 14 of 2014), and we may suspend accounts and report serious cases to the authorities.
11. Reviews and content you send us
If you submit a review or other content, you confirm it is honest and yours to share, and you give us a free, non-exclusive right to display it on our website and marketing. We may moderate or remove content that breaks these terms.
12. Intellectual property
The website, our name, logo, photographs, text and design belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only to browse and order from us, and may not reproduce or use them commercially without our written permission.
13. Our responsibility
We will supply goods and services with reasonable care and in line with Qatari food-safety requirements. We do not exclude or limit liability where the law does not allow it, including for defective goods, fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or business, or for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as severe weather, port, customs or supply disruption, strikes, government action or system failures). Our total liability for any order is limited to the price of that order, where the law permits.
The website is provided "as is" and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons.
14. Privacy and electronic communications
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. You agree that we may communicate with you electronically (website, email, SMS, phone or WhatsApp) about your orders, and that electronic records of orders, confirmations and notices are valid under the Electronic Commerce and Transactions Law (Decree-Law No. 16 of 2010).
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will publish the new version here with its date. Orders are governed by the terms in force when you placed them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Please contact us first so that we can try to resolve any complaint quickly and fairly. If we cannot, the competent courts of the State of Qatar have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to complain to the Consumer Protection Department of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
